Announcements for April 8, 2018

IN HONOR of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., we close our service today with the hymn “Lift Every Voice and Sing”.  As this week marks the 50th anniversary of the assassination of Dr. King, we remember his commitment to Christ’s ministry through the civil rights movement and all that he did to stand for nonviolence, equal rights and human rights.  This hymn served as an anthem for the movement of African Americans to gain equality in our modern American society.
