TODAY IS ALL SAINTS’ SUNDAY, a day to remember and honor the lives and ministry of CPC members who have gone to be with the Lord in the past year. White roses on the piano are in remembrance.

JOIN US THIS MORNING FOR EXTENDING THE TABLE right after worship in Fellowship Hall.  We are assembling and packing 10,000 meals. Come and enjoy participating in a great hands-on mission and fellowship event.  One meal costs 35 cents (total cost of meals = $3,500), so please look for the Rise Against Hunger donation box and bulletin board on your right as you enter Fellowship Hall.  Thanks for your support!

CAFE CENTRAL Coffee and other refreshments will take a hiatus this week while we take over fellowship hall to pack 10,000 meals for Rise Against Hunger! Your favorite Cafe Central caffeinated beverages will return after worship next week. Thanks for your understanding.

SIGN UP FOR THIS WEEK‘S WONDER! DINNER at the Welcome Center or online (www.cpcdowningtown.org/wonder-dinner-sign-up). Dinner is meatball sandwiches.  Gluten-free & vegetarian options can be requested.  Suggested donation is $5 per person to help offset the cost of the meal; max for a family is $20.  Or bring your own dinner & share in the fellowship.

WONDER’S THE BIBLE PROJECT is going on hiatus for the rest of November.  All are welcome to come out to help in the planning & execution for the Heifer Alternative Gift Market.  If Heifer isn’t your cup of milk, Spark! (Grades K-5), IMPACT (grades 6-8) & Tell Me Your Story with Anne Cowburn meet from 7-8:15 pm through November 20th.

MARK YOUR CALENDAR for the Working Guild Community Luncheon this Thursday, November 7, from 11 am to 1 pm.  Choose from a variety of delicious homemade soups, sandwiches, salads and desserts at reasonable prices.  The CPC Working Guild has been supporting the ministry of the church for 43 years through the proceeds of the luncheon.  Come enjoy this opportunity for good food and great fellowship. YOUTH FAMILIES CPC Families of middle & high school students will gather on Sunday, November 17, 5:30-7:30, to share in a Thanksgiving meal & assemble gifts for 45 residents at The Village in Rosemont, PA. RSVP via Signup genius links for the dinner & to help contribute to the gifts. Items are due to Amy’s office on 11/10. ADVENT MATERIALS Look for a display of family Advent materials near the Godly Play sign in station. A reusable Advent Calendar, a deck of activity cards, and an assortment of books for a variety of ages are on display and can be ordered through the church office. Order will be placed on November 18, for delivery before the beginning of Advent.

HONEY BROOK FOOD PANTRY is providing their clients a holiday food box for Christmas.  We need stuffing mix (such as Stove Top) & large aluminum pans for cooking a turkey.  We anticipate 250 families this year.  Please place your items in either of the boxes in the narthex.  All items are due by Sunday, December 1.  Thank you for your generosity!

THE PROGRESSIVE DINNER is this Saturday, November 9 at 5:30 pm.  This is an annual CPC adult fellowship event for couples/singles.  Participants are asked to bring a dish to share and/or host a course at your home.  Contact Cathy Hankes, Linda Yurkutat or Sally Frederick with questions.  A sign-up sheet is at the Welcome Center.

COAT DRIVE Kids Central is partnering with Downingtown UMC for a Coat Drive. Now – Nov. 15th we are collecting all sizes of new & gently used winter wear including coats, snow suits/pants, gloves, hats, scarves, mittens, & boots. Items should be freshly washed & in good wearable condition. Look for donation boxes outside the KCP office.

SALVATION ARMY BELL RINGING Central is supporting the Salvation Army by ringing bells for their Red Kettle Campaign on Black Friday, November 29, at the Exton Mall.
