MISSION TRIPS FOR HURRICANE RELIEF are planned for the weeks of October 13-19 and October 20-26 to Wilmington, NC. Each group will drive down together (unless you want to go by yourself). Cost for participation is $350 which covers transportation and lodging. Breakfast and lunch are provided, but the group is on its own for dinner. If you have questions, contact Koren Motel, Sally Frederick, Nash DeFord or John Yurkutat.

CHANCEL FLOWER SIGN-UP. There are openings on our flower chart for next Sunday, September 22 and the following Sunday, September 29. The cost is $40 for the two vases, payable to the CPC Working Guild. WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE AN ACOLYTE? Students entering 4th, 5th, and 6th grades are invited to join our Acolyte Team. This is a very special way to serve and contribute by bringing the “light” into worship on Sunday morning and then carrying it out after worship, symbolizing the light of Christ going out into the world. If interested, contact Jane Beam. Training and instruction will be provided in early fall for interested students.
DO YOU LOVE TO COOK? The high school youth group has dinner as part of our twice monthly gatherings. Volunteers are invited to sign up to bring dinner for about 8 high school students and leaders on 2nd and 4th Mondays. We’d love to have lots of different folks involved with our group. Cooks would be invited to eat and hang out with us, even share some of your story if you’d like. Please talk to Amy Lisk or contact the church office if you’d like to provide a meal.
