TONIGHT! Students headed into 6th-12th grades are invited to fish and
canoe in the pond at Paradise Farm Camp, in Downingtown. Meet at the

AS WE EXPERIENCE BATHROOM RENOVATIONS this week, there are some changes in restroom availability. Toilets will be available in Rooms 117, 115 and 114. Please follow the signs to these areas, or ask for directions at the Welcome Center. We appreciate your patience as this exciting second-stage of our Capital Campaign proceeds.

NEWSLETTER DEADLINE. Ministry and committee leaders, please begin to think about preparing articles for our late-August “Hands & Feet” newsletter. Article deadline is August 14.

LOOKING FOR A “WIRED WORD” FACILITATOR. We are thankful for the leadership of Lowell McKinney, who is now “changing hats” and will be working with our Godly Play students this fall. “Wired Word” is an adult education class held during Grand Central Station. Materials are provided for the class to read, and the facilitator guides the discussion. We would also welcome co-facilitators. Please contact Pastor Emily if you might be interested in taking on this role.

LASER TAG!!! Join the Youth Group on August 6 for 4 hours of laser tag
games at Laser Quest in Wyomissing. $25 includes our private party games,
pizza and snacks. Invite friends! Volunteer to drive us and play for free! We
can add 10 more people to our group. Sign up on the wall outside the youth
room (112) today. Leaving CPC at 5PM, returning at midnight.

THANK YOU to all who have volunteered to teach and assist with Children’s Worship, our summer program for kids ages 4-2nd grade that takes place during worship after Time at the Table. We are still looking for two volunteers on Sunday, August 13, to lead the children through Bible stories and prayer activities. The lesson is available from Amy Lisk. Thank you!

SUMMER OFFICE HOURS. The church office will be open during the summer from 9 am to 2:00 pm Monday through Thursday and from 9:00 am
to noon on Fridays.

COLLECTION BOXES for our November 5 “Extending the Table” meal-packing
event for Rise Against Hunger (formerly Stop Hunger Now) are available all summer long in Fellowship Hall. Drop in 29 cents to offset the cost of a single meal, or $2.90 toward 10 meals. By November we hope to have most of the cost of this wonderful ministry covered!

THE CPC DEACONS EXTEND A WARM WELCOME today and invite you to stop by the Deacons’ Table in Fellowship Hall.
