Hurricane Ida Relief

CPC has joined a group including four other churches and the Lord’s Pantry to coordinate efforts to support our neighbors who have been affected by the flooding. Kevin Zeeger is CPC’s representative in this group. Many plans are still being worked out, but opportunities are coming together for you to be part of the recovery.

Each week we will update you with ways that you can help our community recover from the Hurricane Ida flooding. Here are current ways to get involved:

Help rebuild flood-damaged homes

CPC has begun sending crews to clean out homes and prepare them for rebuilding. We will ultimately transition to doing the repair work as well, including installing new drywall and flooring, and painting. Electrical and plumbing work may also be needed. We will have professional contractors there to guide us. Going forward, our work days will be on the first and third Saturdays of the month. If needed, some weekday events may be added.

Adopt a displaced family

Dozens of families are still living in hotels, mostly those near the intersection of Routes 100 and 113 in Exton. Ways you could help support these families include providing food, personal care items, toys for the kids, or rides to appointments.

More information will follow as plans are finalized. Please contact Kevin Zeeger by email or by phone at 484-868-1932 to sign up or ask questions.

Other ways you can help:

Support the Rebound of CC Donation Station

The Donation Station provides housewares, bedding, toys, etc to flood victims and is located at 297 W Uwchlan Ave (Rt 113). They are using space in CPC to store some of their overflow items.

Donate – Currently donations are being accepted by appointment only in order to manage the flow of donations and ensure the health and safety of the volunteers and donors. You can choose a donation drop off time by clicking here.

If none of these times work for you, you can register as a DONOR so they can communicate future scheduled drop offs. Click here to register.

Volunteer – You can register to help stock and serve your neighbors, either at the Station or here at CPC by clicking here.
