Adult Choirs

Come As You Are Choir provides music for Worship all summer, beginning after Pentecost and running through the end of August. All are welcome to meet on Sunday mornings to prepare an anthem at 9am before the Worship service.

Throughout the school year (Rally Day through Pentecost), Chancel Choir rehearses on Thursday evenings at 6:30pm. Ahead of Christmas and Easter, the choir prepares special music for these seasons, so please keep an eye on the WE for opportunities to join in the fun!

Singing opportunities for young people at Central

Tween and Youth Music Hour (grades 3rd through 12th) meet on Wednesdays from 6-7pm from September through May. Young people will have the opportunity to sing, play Handbells, play percussion, put together small instrument ensembles, and rehearse for the Spring musical during this time.  

Children in Kindergarten through 2nd Grade will enjoy a time of singing, music, and scripture stories during the Faith Formation Hour on Sunday mornings (10:45- 11:30am) from September through May. Children in this class will have the opportunity to share the songs they learn in Worship periodically.

Adult Handbell Choir
Meets Wednesday evenings from 7-8 p.m. September 6th-November 10th in the Sanctuary.

All skill levels welcome.

Handbell Ringing for Youth
Youth grades 3rd through 12th will have the opportunity to play Handbells during “Tween and Youth Music Hour” on Wednesday evenings (see above).

Mission Committee | Plans to meet in person in September, but has been doing Zoom meetings. Meets monthly on the third Tuesday at 7 p.m. at CPC
