Operations Manager
Central Presbyterian Church (PCUSA) in Downingtown, PA is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee the business operations of the church. The Operations Manager is a senior leadership role responsible for coordinating and implementing strategies and procedures that will accomplish the vision and mission of Central Presbyterian Church. This position has significant responsibilities that cover key operations of the church, including working with the Trustees in oversight of the building, implementation of IT strategies, supporting volunteer operations, supervision of Accounting and Office staff, and communication and collaboration with all staff, volunteers, and congregants. This part-time position reports to the Head of Staff and is estimated to be 25-30 hours per week but will require flexibility based on the needs of the congregation, noting that the hours are primarily Monday through Friday daytime hours but occasionally include evening and weekend availability. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2 yrs. of experience operations/business management, preferably in a nonprofit setting. Confidentiality, compassion, good time management, excellent communication skills, basic knowledge of social media programs/platforms and computer skills are essential. Require FBI, PA State and Child Abuse Clearances plus clean MVR and ability to drive.
Job Type: Part-time Exempt
Compensation: $37,000 to $40,000 annually
