Giving Back This Christmas

Heifer International Alternative Gift Market

Central’s Mission Committee will host the annual Heifer Fair - Alternative Gift Market at the Welcome Center beginning December 1st. Stop by to get information, gift cards, buttons, animal bookmarks and cards, or honor someone with an Alternative Gift this Year. Provide sustenance and new beginnings for many in God’s World by gifting an alternative new start to a family in need. Recipients pass along first offspring to another in need thereby “living gifts” help another individual with new start in a new year.

Homebound Giftbags

15 homebound Christmas gift bags will be located in the fellowship hall December 1,8, and 15.  Congregants are encouraged to bring in small treats and gifts to fill these bags on these Sundays to let our homebound members know they are loved, missed, and remembered at this time of year.  Deacons will then deliver the gift bags to our homebound members before Christmas.  Additionally, there will be Christmas cards at the gift bag table for you to write our homebound members Christmas greetings.  Suggested gift items may be tissues, eye glass cleaners, hand sanitizers, lotions, magnifying glass, crossword puzzle (large print), mini flashlight, back scratcher.

Christmas Joy Offering

Christmas Joy Offering Envelopes will be available throughout December. By giving to the Christmas Joy Offering, you honor God's gift of Jesus Christ by providing assistance to current and retired church workers in their time of need and developing our future leaders at Presbyterian-related schools and colleges equipping communities of color.

Angel Tree

On Sunday, November 24th we will have names available for the Angel Tree outside of the Sanctuary. Please stop by to grab one to bless a child this Christmas!
