Caregiver Support Group
Sharing the Journey Together: Care and Conversation for Caregivers.
All Central’s caregivers (those who care for loved ones whose medical issues are ongoing at home or in a facility) are invited and encouraged to join Jane DeFord and Debbie Gordon as we embrace and support one another. We will meet weekly during Lent in the Fishbowl Room 9:30-11:00 am on Wednesdays March 12th, 19th, 26th, and April 2nd, 9th, and 16th.
Please let Debbie or the church office know if you will be attending.
Easter Sunday
Easter morning we will celebrate the resurrection together
with two services.
7 a.m. - Outdoor Sunrise Service (weather permitting)
9:30 a.m. - Traditional Service in the sanctuary.
Lenten Lunches
Join us for Lent Lunches in various Downingtown churches. All services will take place on Wednesdays, and start at noon.
Central will host a service and lunch on Wednesday, March 9th.
Community Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday, April 12th at 10 a.m.
Everyone is invited to a free morning of community fun! We’ll have an Easter Egg Hunt, activities, crafts and a snack. All are welcome!
Lent Devotional
Read a brief devotional and prayer each day throughout Lent.
Throughout the season of Lent, envelopes will be available on Sundays to give a gift to “One Great Hour of Sharing.” Each gift to One Great Hour of Sharing supports efforts to relieve hunger through the Presbyterian Hunger Program, promote development through the Presbyterian Committee on the Self-Development of People, and assist in areas of disaster through Presbyterian Disaster Assistance. All three programs work in different ways to serve individuals and communities in need. From initial disaster response to ongoing community development, their work fits together to provide people with safety, sustenance, and hope.
